This organization was founded in the early 1990s as a not-for-profit organization in Arizona solely dedicated to the conservation and proper management of pronghorn in Arizona and across the Southwest. The
Foundation has been actively involved in field projects to benefit pronghorn, have supported political actions to preserve and enhance pronghorn habitat, been involved in planning processes of land management
agencies to protect pronghorn habitat, and sought to make Arizonians more aware of pronghorn and their special needs. They are the sole state organization dedicated only to the purpose of conserving pronghorn.
The Foundation has partnered with Arizona Game and Fish Department in developing pronghorn management plans, conducting research studies (including putting their money where their mouth is), and promoting
management actions to benefit pronghorn.
If you need fences modified, this group of dedicated sportsmen and families has that can-do attitude and get the project done. The Foundation helped sponsor the 18th Biennial Pronghorn Workshop in Prescott, Arizona in 1998, including feeding the attendees. Their website, www.azantelope.org has won an award for outstanding design and is a wonderful site for information on the species.
